We will be hosting a DVD seminar entitled "Making the Most of Marriage" taught by Dr. Kevin Leman and facilitated by pastor Rick Meyer. The series will run for 4 consecutive Friday nights (January 20th, 27th and February 3rd and 10th) and will cost $60.00 per couple which includes the work book/guide.  If you complete the entire series, your fee will be refunded with the requirement that you take your other half out on a date to celebrate.

The series is open to all married couples, engaged couples or those couples who are in serious contemplation of marriage.  Each session will begin at 7:00 PM and end at 9:30 PM.  To attend, you must sign up.  Sign up sheets are provided during Sunday morning services or are located on the bulletin board in the Son Room.  Deadline for registration is Sunday, January 15th.

A church work day is scheduled for Saturday, January 28th from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.  We will be moving all items from the south end of the fellowship hall to enable the completion of the flooring installation.  Also on the agenda is to cut back our front bushes and remove all the debris.  Everyone is welcome to help.

The MidSouth Foursquare District will be hosting this conference at the New Hope Foursquare Church in Lubbock TX on Saturday, March 24.  This is open to any leader or future leader within our congregation.  If you wish to attend, please contact pastor Rick Meyer.  Registration mus be turned in by March 10 and includes a charge of $15.00 for an individual or $20.00 per couple.  This includes a lunch and all training materials.

Beginning the 1st Sunday of each month and ending on the following Saturday, we are dedicating each evening to prayer for our church, our community and our nation.  The sanctuary will be open to anyone wishing to come and pray.  You can come for any length of time. Please see the following hours that prayer time is available on those nights:

• Sunday and Monday:  6:00 - 9:00 PM
• Tuesday:  6:00-7:30 PM
• Wednesday:  7:00-9:00 PM (includes regular church events)
• Thursday, Friday and Saturday:  6:00-9:00 PM
